  5. I think the Dalton Sherman video was the most interesting. I thought it was cool how he, being a fifth grader, was able to stand in front of thousands of people and give his speech.

  6. I really enjoyed watching all of the videos in class yesterday. I think that they all taught a valuable lesson. I found the lip dub video the most impressive because of all of the planning that had to go into it. Everything that went on in that video had to be so precise and planned out ahead of time. The video only had one take so everything had to be perfect. It was even more impressive that they had to do it in reverse order. I found this video extremely interesting and impressive and I found the person who did all of the planning even more impressive.

  7. While the Jim and Dwight video was humourous and the other videos were very impressive, I thought the Dalton Sherman video was the most interesting to me. Not only do public speakers fascinate me (mainly because I can't talk to a large crowd properly) but because he was only in fifth grade! That would be like my little brother talking to 20,000 people. Dalton was an amazing speaker and provided motivation with his question: "Do you believe in me?" This video is an amazing example towards good communication.

  8. The one I found the most impressive was the Shorewood High School Lip Dub. The reasons I picked the lip dub video are how planned out this was and how they did it all in one shot with the video, being the perfect length of the song, and with the whole school participating with out a really big incedent.

  9. the sherwood video was cool, theres no way i could learn that song backwards. i wonder if the kid that made the boyscout video got paid in the end from that website picking it up. i wish i were as couragous as dalton sherman when i was that old. the concept of jim and dwight is so true there is a dwight in every job youll have and some times they are fun and interesting but other times they totally annoy you but the job wouldnt be the same without then.

  10. I found the Boy Scout video very impressive. The fact that a 14 year old boy made a very professional video because he was bored shows creativity and talent. It is cool that someone fairly young can produce a comercial grade video without needing all sorts of equipment or resources. -Alex Draheim

  11. I thought that the Boy Scout as well as the Lip Dub video were the most impressive. I liked the Boy Scout one because it was made by an elementary school kid in his free time and it looked like a professionally made commercial. I liked the Lip Dub one because it was all one shot and it had pretty much the whole school in it and it was shot in reverse as well as in one shot. I also thought that Dalton Sherman; A 5th grade boy speaking in from of thousands of teachers was very impressive because he was in 5th grade! He did an outstanding job and did better than most high school students or even adults could do! My vote here for the most impressive though is the Lib Dub video because it was really fun and all the coordination that went into was very cool.

I think that the Dalton Sherman video was the most impressive video because I think it's really amazing that someone as young as him was able to stand up in front of thousands of people and be completely fearless. I know that I would not have been able to speak in front of this many people or even half the amount of people in that stadium that he spoke to. I also think he was very professional in the way that he spoke and he was very passionate and enthusiastic.

  13. Leah - I found the Shorewood High School Lip Dub to be very impressive, especially considering all the work that went into creating that. I also though Dalton Sherman was very impressive because his public speaking skills as a 5th grader are really amazing. Most adults wouldn't be able to speak in front of people as well as that 5th grader could.

  16. I thought the most impressive video that we watched was the Boy Scout Video because it looked like a real advertisement and it was very professional looking. This video was impressive for anyone to make but the fact that a 14 year old student made it for fun, was even more impressive.

  17. I thought the Shorewood Lip Dub was the most impressive because it would be very difficult to get the whole school to collaborate on such a large project, and a lot of planning needed to take place.

  18. I thought the video of Dalton Sherman was the most impressive, mostly because I knew that I would never be able to stand up in front of 20,000 people and deliver that convincing and powerful of a speech, and on top of that he just seemed so fearless and confident in hemself while he was speaking. I also found it impressive that he was able to get such a big reaction out of the crowd.

  19. I am impressed by the ambition of the 14 year old boy scout. He made a very clean and strong video supporting the boy scouts. The vidio almost looked professional. If i didn't know that the video was made by a 14 year old, i would've thought that someone was hired to make an ad. In my past, i have edited and created videos and i understand how it can be difficult to make sure the video looks good. That video must have taken a long time and i am impressed how the boy didn't give up and had the ambition to finish the video and have it be solid from beginning to the end. It's nice to know that there are people like that out in the world. - Chelsey

  22. I think the most impressive video was the Dalton Sherman addresses the Dallas School District staff. I think that Dalton was a very powerful and inspirational public speaker. He was an amazing kid to watch. Not only was his delivery of the speech good, but his whole speech overall was very meaningful and powerful. And he had a good point, if the teachers don't believe in their students, why should the students try; why should they believe in themselves? I think he is someone that everyone can learn from.

I was very impressed by Shorewood High School Lip Dub, because of it's creativity and exceptionaly organized creation. Also, the themes used, such as the paper planes being throw in the background, and many of the people dressed in similar colors, gave the video visual appeal and was interesting to the eye. I admire the student who initiated the video, because he has great leadership skills, and an idea that he had to create from scratch; soley from his mind.
