  1. Dan Pfeiffer was born in Delaware. He went to Georgetown. He was a spokesperson for Vice President Al Gore and other democratic senators before joining President Obama.

  2. Daniel Pfeiffer

    Daniel Pfeiffer graduated from George Town. He is only 33 but has been in politics ever since he graduated college. He has worked for Al Gore,Tim Johnson, Evan Bayh, and Robert Gibs.He was originally part of Obama's traveling team during election. He was then brought on as deputy communications direct but was later promoted to communications difector when Annita Dunn left.

  3. Chief of Staff- Bill Daley

    He is the president's closest advisor, manages president's schedule, oversees actions of staff, decides who is allowed to meet president, and negotiates with congress.

    Bill Daley holds a law degree, was born in Chicago, received his B.A. from Loyola University and law degree from John Marshall Law School.

  4. Jay Carney, born James Carney in 1965, was appointed as press secretary on February 11, 2011, replacing former press secretary Robert Gibbs. Before press secretary, he was the director of communications to VP Joe Biden.

  5. Bill Daley was born in Chicago. He got his BA from Loyola University and a law degree from John Marshall Law School. He served as Special counsel to President Clinton in 1993. Served as secretary of Commerce from 1997-2000. He was the campaign chairman for Al Gore. He is now the Chief of Staff to President Obama.

    Reggie Love was born June 21, 1981 in North Carolina. Graduated with a degree in political science and public policy from Duke University and played on the Duke basketball team that won the NCAA national championship. He was interviewed for a position in Senator Obama’s office, and was accepted as a “deputy political director”. Currently, he is part of Obama’s administration as a personal aide. Furthermore, he was the person of the week January 23, 2009. He is referred to as the president’s “chief of stuff”.

  7. Daniel Pfeiffer is the communications director for the White House. He was born on December 24, 1975 in Deleware. He attended Georgetown University and graduated with magna cum laude. Pfeiffer is a former member of Obama's presidential transition team and he was the spokesperson for Vice President Al Gore in 2000. Pfieffer's wife, Sarah Feinberg, is the senior adviser and spokesperson for Obama's former Chief of Staff, who is now the mayor of Chicago.

  8. William (Bill) Daley is the chief of staff to President Obama. He is the President's closest adviser. He was born in Chicago and graduated from Loyola University and John Marshall Law School. He was a former lawyer and banker. Before serving for Obama, Daley was President Clinton’s Secretary of Commerce. He was also President of SBC Communications.

  9. Jay Carney - Press Secretary
    46 years old, grew up in Virginia and attended Yale. Spent time covering the fall of the USSR in Russia, before moving back to America to cover the presidency's of Clinton and Bush. He was the only journalist on Airforce One with the President on September 11, 2001. He has also worked for CNN and Time Magazine. In 2003, he won the Gerald R. Ford award for excellent reporting on the Presidency. In 2011 he was appointed by President Obama to be the White House Press Secretary. Jay is married and has two children.

  10. Jay Carney grew up in northern Virginia and graduated from Yale. He began reporting on the White House during the Clinton administration and was with president Bush on Air Force One on September 11. He became Joe Bidens director of communications in 2008 and became Obamas press secretary in January 2011.

  11. Reggie Love
    Attended the Providence Day School in North Carolina for K-12 before attending Duke University. While at Duke,he was the captain of the basketball team and played reciever for the football team. He graduated from Duke with a degree in public policy and political science. After some unsuccessful NFL tryouts, Reggie applied for a position in Barack Obama's senate office and was appointed the deputy political director. During the 2008 election, he played basketball with the president everyday there was a primary. He will leave his current position at the end of 2011 to return to school at the University of Pennsylvania.

  12. Jay (James) Carney is 46 years old and currently married to ABC correspondent Claire Shipman and has a son and a daughter. He was communications director for Vice President Joe Biden before becoming the President’s Press Secretary. Born in Washington D.C., he was raised in Northern Virginia, and then preceded to study at and graduate from Yale University. After graduation, Carney became a political journalist, appointed Chief Bureau for Time magazine and contributing to the ABC News ‘roundtable’ segment. He took the position as Press Secretary in January of 2011, so he has held the position for almost a year. However, he has worked under the Obama administration for about three years.

He later joined Time magazine as its Miami Bureau Chief in 1989. He reported on president bush. He then was appointed and he suceeded Robert Gibbs.
